Meet the Team of Riverwalk Pet
Hospital and Resort
Hello, I’m Vanessa, I’ve been grooming for 12 years now and I enjoy every moment of it. I love being able to make your fur babies look and feel like a new pup. I take pride in my work and I love knowing that you can trust me with your babies. I enjoy the relationships and friendships I have built with both pets and their parents.

Front Office Manager
Karen began working in veterinary medicine in 2008 with Dr O’Gorman and Jen. It was always her dream growing up to work in the veterinary field. She is beyond thankful to have been able to fulfill her vet med dream.
Karen lives with her husband, Jim and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Hoopy, Griff & Larsson. They both hope that one day soon their only son, Joseph, his wife Leeann & their granddaughter Teighan will join them here in Texas.
Both Karen and Jim are passionate about soccer and love their team back home (in Scotland), Celtic FC. They even get up at crazy times to watch them play with the members of the Lone Star Celtic Supporters Club in Dallas. As a matter of fact, Karen is so passionate about her team that all of her Cavaliers have been named after a past or present Celtic player. Karen loves to collect Celtic memorabilia and has quite the collection. Another indicator of how much Karen and Jim love soccer, they also have season tickets for FC Dallas. Last, but certainly not least, also an avid college football fan. She even says, “That’s the only thing I love about fall and winter, kicking back with Jim, the Cavaliers, and watching the Aggies play!”

She is looking forward to pursuing further certifications in integrated medicine and resuming therapy work with her dogs.
